Classes for 2 to 4 Years

 

Tiny Tumblers

MONDAY 9:30am – 10:30am

TUESDAY 9:30am – 10:30am

THURSDAY 9:30am – 10:30am

Tiny Tumblers is a fantastic class for those inexhaustible toddlers.
2-4 yr olds are guided through games and stretches. They then move onto a circuit including trampoline, tightwire, hoops, scarves and more. Our qualified Trainers will encourage your child to explore and discover through play, climbing and many exciting circus objects. The fun possibilities for this class are endless.
Mums, dads and grandparents are all encouraged to join in and enjoy their little ones having the time of their life. It is a safe environment where children are encouraged to learn to swing, climb and roll safely.

18 month olds are welcome (if they are already walking).

Classes for 4 to 16 Years

Super Circus (4-6 yrs)

FRIDAY 4:00pm – 5:00pm

A great introduction to circus. This class incorporates acrobatics, tight wire, trampoline, juggling, trapeze, spinning plates, hoops and more. The focus is on learning through play in a safe environment. Our Trainers will guide children safely whilst developing their skills. Circus is great for building confidence, coordination and motor skills.

No previous experience required.

Circus is great for building confidence, coordination and motor skills.

Acro Circus (8-12yrs)

WEDNESDAY 4:00pm – 5:30pm

This class incorporates acrobatics, tight wire, trampoline, juggling, trapeze, spinning plates, diablo, hoops and more. The focus is on learning through play in a safe environment. Our Trainers will guide the children and support their learning and growth. Circus is great for building confidence, fitness and coordination.

No previous experience required.

Mixed Level Acrobatics (8 – 15 years)

MONDAY 5:00pm – 6:30pm

WEDNESDAY 5:30pm – 7:00pm

Circus Acrobatics focuses on providing a structured development in acrobatic foundations such as conditioning, strength/flexibility, handstands, tumbling, trampoline, acro balance and partner/pyramids for all skill levels to provide students with good acrobatic foundations, which will enable them to perform a wide range of circus skills and acts.

Students will learn the foundations of acrobatics, and focus on skills such as tumbling and trampolining which will provide a base for all circus movement elements for example: somersaulting on flying trapeze, Russian bar, Teeterboard, Chinese hoop diving or ground acrobatic acts. They will also work towards developing handstand skills for handstand acts, partnering/hand to hand work.

No previous experience required.

Beginners Aerials (8 – 16 years)

MONDAY 5:00pm – 6:30pm

SATURDAY 10:00am – 11:30am

Aerials Beginners is a perfect class for 8-16 yr to be introduced to the fun of Aerials. Learn how to get on and off trapeze and lyra [ aerial hoop ] safely and how to climb the silks. Although this is a beginners course, if the students are strong and capable enough, they may also start to learn some basic tricks. A fun class which is great for upper body and core strength. Perfect for kids who naturally love to hang and climb.

Aerials/Circus (9-16yrs)

TUESDAY 4:00PM – 6:00pm

THURSDAY 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Aerials/Circus focuses on Aerial components, such as silks and trapeze, as well as incorporating acrobatics, diablo, tight wire, trampoline, devils sticks and hoops. If your child is crazy about aerials, but also enjoys other aspects of circus, then this is the class for them.

Please note: Due to the nature of the class we have had to reduce the total number of students to 18.

No previous experience required.

Unicycle, Roller Boller & Juggling Open Age

TUESDAY 5:00pm – 6:30pm

5 Week Program starting Tuesday 21 August!

This program is designed to get you balanced on a wheel, a roller and manipulating balls, batons, hats, diablos. This is a fantastic opportunity to build and expand your basic skills to the next level. If you are interested in this class, but have no experience, please contact us to discuss other options.

(Some juggling and/or unicycle skills required).

Advanced Aerials Open Age

TUESDAY 6:30 – 8:30pm

Incorporating a range of aerial equipment and skills students will be trained predominantly in Trapeze and Lyra. There is a focus on skill progression, choreography and routine creation.

Spaces for this class are limited due to the nature of the activity.

Students must have Advanced level Aerial skills or have completed 2 terms of Aerial Intermediate.

This class is charged at a 1.5 hour class rate, though please arrive at 7:00pm. Advanced Students take it in turns running the warm up for 30mins. Bodies ready to launch into hard work at 7.30pm

Hand-balancing is an incredible bodyweight workout. Improve your Flow with hand balancing practice! This is a progressive program designed to help you develop advanced hand balancing disciplines and skills, regardless of your current level.

Intermediate Aerials Open Age

FRIDAY 5:00pm – 6:30pm

A fun class for 9-16 year olds to come and further develop their existing aerial skills. This class is a perfect to learn new skills on Trapeze, Silks, Rope (Corde Lisse) & Lyra (Aerial Hoop).

Spaces for this class are limited due to the nature of the activity.

It is essential that students attend at least 1 term of Beginner Aerials before enrolling in this class.

Wire & Stilts Open Age

FRIDAY 6:00pm – 7:30pm

5 Week Program starting Friday 24 August!

In this class students will learn to walk and twirl on a tightwire (a real 1 & 2m high wire) and mastering the art of remaining upright on one wheel. And if that is not enough, students will have the opportunity to stilt walk, it may feel very much like walking for the first time. What these three skills have in common is balance. So throughout the term you’ll be building your core strength, mental focus, and your courage. 

This class is set up for beginners through to intermediate students.

Mixed Level Acro

MONDAY 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Single point aerial hoop is a graceful apparatus; it is often performed on while spinning, adding an extra dimension to the performance. Students in this class will learn shapes and transitions in and around the hoop, building into small sequences.
More experienced students will have the opportunity to work on spinning, beats, and dynamic moves. They will learn how to harness the momentum created by the spin, and work with it instead of fighting against it.

Must be at an intermediate level to enrol in these classes.

TUESDAY 10:30am – 12:00pm

Incorporating a range of aerial equipment and skills, though students will be trained predominantly in silks. There is a big focus on skill progression.

Beginner level students are welcome to try this class, provided that you can climb and invert on the silk correctly.

Aerial Conditioning

TUESDAY 6:00pm – 7:30pm

This class is the gateway to learning aerials [ Trapeze, Silks, Rope or Lyra ]. Under careful guidance of our experienced and qualified Trainers, you will be introduced to the equipment, taught the safe way to get on/off and climb. This class incorporates some ground based conditioning/strength building and some aerial conditioning, to improve upper-body and core strength.

No previous experience required. If you would like to enrol in the Aerial Beginners class, you will first need to attend this class in order to be assessed by the trainer.

Cirque Fit

WEDNESDAY 9:30am – 11:00am

Cirque Fit – right from the beginning. 
This is an adult class for anyone wanting to kickstart their body into feeling strong and fit again This is a class for everyone – no previous skills or fitness levels are required. Come try it out. Nothing to lose, and tone to gain!
 

Aerials Beginner (Adult/15+)

WEDNESDAY 6:00pm – 7:30pm

This class teaches basic skills on Trapeze and Silks predominantly. Training includes how to get on and off equipment safely, drills, skill development, technique, core and upper body strength work. It is ideal for students wanting to have fun while increasing their strength and fitness. Students who wish to take circus to the next level are welcome to partake also.

All Participants must have attended AERIAL CONDITIONING prior to joining this class. The trainer will assess when you are ready to move to beginners.

Circus Fit with Hoops

THURSDAY 10:30am – 12:00pm

5 Week Program starting Thursday 23 August!

Circus Fitness is for everyone. This class is perfect if you want to try circus for the first time, or you already attend classes. This class will strengthen muscles in your core and back, and improve balance, posture and flexibility.
 
 

Corde Lisse

THURSDAY 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Students will be trained in Corde Lisse.
This class is suitable for students who are intermediate to advanced in aerials, who wish to further develop their skills.

Circus Hoop Tricks

THURSDAY 7:00pm – 8:30pm

5 Week Program starting Thursday 23 August!

Come take advantage of this opportunity to work with Circus hoop maestro Eve Everard while she is in WA. She will take you on a journey of discovery. Come transform your basic hoop tricks into mesmerising circular patterns from head to toes.

(basic hoop experience required, not for absolute beginners).
