Stretch and flex class focuses on stretching and mobility. These sessions aim to improve functional capacity, recover better, and prevent injury. You will learn how to properly activate and control important stabilising muscles and perform movements with efficiency, while getting limber and energised.

 

ACRO LEVEL 2

Circus Acrobatics focuses on providing a structured development in acrobatic foundations such as conditioning, strength/flexibility, handstands, tumbling, trampoline, acro balance and partner/pyramids for all skill levels to provide students with good acrobatic foundations, which will enable them to perform a wide range of circus skills and acts.

Students will learn the foundations of acrobatics, and focus on skills such as tumbling and trampolining which will provide a base for all circus movement elements for example: somersaulting on flying trapeze, Russian bar, Teeterboard, Chinese hoop diving or ground acrobatic acts. They will also work towards developing handstand skills for handstand acts, partnering/hand to hand work.

 
PARTNER ACRO (OPEN AGE)

Partner Acro is a wonderful way to build trust in others as well as your own self confidence. Students will learn to depend on each other and allow them to support their body weight. Different types of skills will be explored during this workshop including hand to hand balance, two highs, towers and group pyramids.
This class is suitable for beginners and students will learn movements suitable to their abilities.
 
 
AERIAL CONDITIONING

This class is the gateway to learning aerials [ Trapeze, Silks, Rope or Lyra ]. Under careful guidance of our experienced and qualified Trainers, you will be introduced to the equipment, taught the safe way to get on/off and climb. This class incorporates some ground based conditioning/strength building and some aerial conditioning, to improve upper-body and core strength.

No previous experience required. If you would like to enrol in the Aerial Beginners class, you will first need to attend this class in order to be assessed by the trainer.

Level 1

Our progressive aerial classes are designed to build stable fundamentals on fixed both silks and trapeze.
 
Through a number of movements, students will learn to ascend, descend and control their apparatus, build strength and improve their flexibility and coordination.
 
You must attend an aerial conditioning class to be assessed by our trainers before enrolling into this class. 
 
 
Level 2

After completing level 1 Aerials, you will move on to level 2, progressing your skills further.
 
 
Level 2/3

This class caters to students who are either level 2 or 3 in Aerials.

Level 4

This class is only suited to advanced Aerial students. 

You must have completed other levels before enrolling into level 4. Please discuss with your trainer. 

AERIAL STRAPS

5 WEEK SPECIALIST COURSE – 14 NOV – 12 DEC

This Specialist program will focus on aerial straps and the techniques involved in learning this aerial art.

You must be at Level 2 – 4 (intermediate/advanced) to sign up for this course.

Circus Fit – right from the beginning.
This is an adult class for anyone wanting to kickstart their body into feeling strong and fit again This is a class for everyone – no previous skills or fitness levels are required. Come try it out. Nothing to lose, and tone to gain!

 

HAND TO HAND

Interested in learning the basics of hand to hand? Whether you’re a base or a flyer, a new-comer to partner acro or would just like to get out of a training plateau, this five week program will help you get underway! With step-by-step instructions, and take-home exercises, you should see some pleasing results by the course end. For best results, enrol with your training partner.

HOOP TRICKS OPEN AGE 5 WEEK COURSE

Circus Fitness is for everyone. This class is perfect if you want to try circus for the first time, or you already attend classes. This class will strengthen muscles in your core and back, and improve balance, posture and flexibility. 

 

WIRE AND UNICYCLE

FRIDAY 5:00pm-6:30pm

In this wire and unicyle class, students will learn to walk and twirl on a tightwire. You will also learn or improve your balance on one wheel.

This class can cater for all levels – new beginners, intermediate or advanced. 

 

STILTS, UNICYLE & JUGGLE (OPEN AGE)

This term program is designed to get you balanced on a wheel, wire and stilts!
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to build and expand your basic skills to the next level. If you are keen in this class, but have no experience, please contact us to discuss other options. (Some juggling, stilts and/or unicycle skills are required).
