The 2011 Annual General Meeting of the WA Circus School Inc. will take place at 6:30 PM on Monday 24 October 2011. The meeting will be held at the WA Circus Space and will last approximately 2 hours.
•All members are eligible to vote.
•A new committee will stand for election.
•The General Manager will present the 2011 Annual Report to the Members.
• •Light refreshments will be provided.

MONDAY – FRIDAY, 11TH – 15TH JULY
For 3-4 year olds
A fun class with parent participation! Spend some quality time doing circus activities with your tiny tot. Lots of games and a good time for both of you, so come join in the fun!
Toddlers (3-4yrs) 10:00am – 11:00am $15 per class $65 for all 5 classes
For 5-12 year olds
With barrels of fun for all ages and all stages it’s a great way to try juggling, plate spinning, diablolo, hula hoops, tightwire, poi, tumbling and unicycle. No two days will be the same, so why not come for all 5 days!
Group 2 (5-8yrs) 11:15am- 12:45pm $30 per class $135 for all 5 classes
Group 3 (9-12yrs) 1:00pm – 2:30pm $30 per class $135 for all 5 classes
THURSDAY 14th & FRIDAY 15TH JULY
For 13-17 year olds
Come have some Thursday and Friday night fun with these circus skills! Try hula hoops, juggling, stilt walking and aerial. High energy and heaps of fun!
Teens (13-17yrs) 5:00pm – 7:00pm $30 per class $55 for both classes

Acrobalance is back!
Sophie and Jacob are back at WACS and wanting to teach you a thing or two.
So limber up and come on down for a welcome return to our regular program.
Wednesdays 6.30 – 8.30pm
The class will cost $30 per week and new students are required to pay the annual $35 administration fee.

Lasso Master Class + Clowning Workshop
David Lichtenstein will be in Fremantle performing his Leapin’ Louie Comedy Cowboy act and wants to teach you a thing or two! He is a master of physical comedy, trick roping, fancy whip cracking and has a few awards under his lasso – so take advantage of this amazing opportunity to learn from the master! The workshops will be suitable for beginner through to advanced, and lasso’s will be provided and available for purchase after the workshop.

Head Shots by Hazel Buckley

WA Circus School has a fabulous opportunity you to get Professional Head Shots at an incredible price!
Hazel Buckley Photography will hold sittings at The WA Circus School from 1pm, Saturday 5th March.
Hazel will create stunning, printable images for your use, and present them in full resolution, on your own CD.
For $65 you will get 20 images in colour and the same again in black and white.
Hazel is a regular photgrapher for the WA Circus School. Examples of some of her work can be viewed at her website www.hazelbuckley.com.au Hurry – places are limited.

Work on Your Act

Auditions for Work On Your Act
Work on Your Act is open to anyone aged 13 to 25 years who would like to become part of the WA Circus School Youth Performance Troupe. Work on Your Act is supervised open training for talented circus students with a passion for performing.
The group train every Saturday 10:30am to 12:30pm and the group will work with a Director to develop material as well as having a key role in WA Circus School productions. There are 12 places available for this group and anyone interested in joining will need to audition (even students who have previously been in the group need to audition to make it fair for everyone).
To be eligible for this group you need to be enrolled in another weekly class and maintain excellent attendance.
Auditions will be held Saturday 19th February 10.30 am – 12.30pm
Fill in a registration form and email it through to us auditions@circuswa.com
- You will need to prepare a 5 minute act of your choice and style of circus skills. Please have any music on an ipod or CD
- Acts are to be solo (one person) unless your doing Adagio/ Acrobalance
- If you are auditioning an aerial skill we recommend preparing a ground act as well as all performers need to be versatile for the Youth Performance Troupe
- All auditionees will be notified in writing whether they are successful or unsuccessful by Wednesday 23rd Feb.

Circus Master Class with Dizzy Lizzy
WA Circus School invite you to enhance your skills with Hula Hoop and Lyra Master Class. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from the NICA trained Dizzy Lizzy, back in WA for a very short time! So if you are 16+ and ready for a challenge come along for these adult classes.
