Auditions for Work On Your Act

Work on Your Act is open to anyone aged 13 to 25 years who would like to become part of the WA Circus School Youth Performance Troupe. Work on Your Act is supervised open training for talented circus students with a passion for performing.

The group train every Saturday 10:30am to 12:30pm and the group will work with a Director to develop material as well as having a key role in WA Circus School productions. There are 12 places available for this group and anyone interested in joining will need to audition (even students who have previously been in the group need to audition to make it fair for everyone).

To be eligible for this group you need to be enrolled in another weekly class and maintain excellent attendance.

Auditions will be held Saturday 19th February 10.30 am – 12.30pm

Fill in a registration form and email it through to us auditions@circuswa.com

• You will need to prepare a 5 minute act of  your choice and style of circus skills. Please have any music on an ipod or CD
• Acts are to be solo (one person) unless your doing Adagio/ Acrobalance
• If you are auditioning an aerial skill we recommend preparing a ground act as well as all performers need to be versatile for the Youth Performance Troupe
• All auditionees will be notified in writing whether they are successful or unsuccessful by Wednesday 23rd Feb.
