Second last day of classes for 2012!

With one day of classes left we can safely say – what a year!! Although the POZIBLE campaign was unfortunately not successful in raising the funds for the end of year show, the show went on as planned much to the enthusiasm and excitement of the people of Fremantle. Quite a crowd gathered to cheer along our students and trainers as they did some dazzling things in the air and on the ground, and there were even a few special guests thrown in, including the very talented Divalicious and Phoebe Cook who provided an incredible live soundscape. Directed by Dream State Circus, Aerial! Fire! Circus! Spectacular! was a show that Fremantle won’t soon forget!

WACS wouldn’t be what it is without the dedication, enthusiasm and support from all of our brilliant trainers, board members, students and volunteers. To all of you who have been a part of the WACS 2012 adventure we say THANK YOU! Stay tuned for the December newsletter for information about activities over the holidays we will see you all again on February 4th in 2013!

Making a great show Pozible with your help!

Your chance to be a part of the circus magic…

WACS End of Year Show poster

Two weeks ago we started a Pozible campaign to Crowd Fund the next WA Circus School show. Now as a not for profit that is 80% self funded we usually do a pretty great job of putting on several shows each year. This time is a little different, and as WACS comes out of a year of uncertainty and possible venue change we want to make a splash in the community and remind everyone that we are here, and that circus is an important addition to any cultural hub!

This show will be bigger than usual, taking place outside, for free to allow everyone to come along… so we need your help in partially funding the project.

In two weeks we have raised only a fraction of our $8000 goal and so now it is crucial that everyone band together to show Perth just how important (and amazing, and fun and incredible) Circus is!

The Show will be taking place on;

Sunday December 9th

at 6.15pm

Esplanade Reserve Fremantle

and is free by donation – as an added bonus Dream State Circus will be hosting an open Circus workshop in the afternoon from 2-5pm!

What do you need to do? Get yourself along to pozible.com/circuswa and make a donation, then get all your friends to do the same. It couldn’t be easier, and once you’re done you’ll have that lovely warm feeling inside knowing that you helped to put on an amazing circus show! Thank you in advance, from the whole team at WA Circus School!

We have a Pozible campaign to raise money for our end of year production!
Yes that’s right we’re having an end of year production… of course we are, we always do and this one’s gonna be great, but more details on that to follow shortly.

Back to Pozible… What is it? Well Pozible is crowd funding, we start a campaign to raise money, then you and all your friends can make donations to us. It’s really that simple!

What do you need to do? Get yourself along to pozible.com/circuswa and make a donation, then get all your friends to do the same. It couldn’t be easier, and once you’re done you’ll have that lovely warm feeling inside knowing that you helped to put on an amazing circus show!
